Organizational Culture_ Can It Be Managed
Q What is organizational culture? Can culture be managed in the same way that other systems and processes can be “managed”? Depending on your answer, what does this mean as to the use of culture as a “strategic control”?
The organizational culture can be considered as the underlying beliefs, values, assumptions and several ways of interaction with the employees and the higher management. The values and behaviors of every individual should contribute the psychological and social environment of the organization, which has been encompassed by the organizational culture. The behavior and attitude of the employees can be managed within the organization (Alvesson 2012). However, it is really complicated to manage and control the values, assumptions and beliefs of the employees within the workplace.
