Q As an HR OD practitioner, how would you go about selecting the appropriate intervention to implement? And how would you evaluate whether or not the process was working?
As an HR it is important to know when the organization is in need of intervention. However, any random intervention might actually do harm than good to the company. This is because each company has its own specific problems. So most importantly before selecting an appropriate model of intervention it is required to understand the basic nature of the problem to be solved. The nature of the problem will guide us to its right solution. However, before any intervention takes place there are certain steps that need to be implemented to make sure that the intervention is given an easy entry.
