Nonhuman primates possess culture as they share the material culture with human beings. The culture is explained as the learned behaviors set which is shared by a large group (Larsen, 2019). Material culture is defined as the technology or physical objects used in society on a larger scale. Some examples of culture in non-human primates are nut cracks through rocks, rainwater absorption through sponge material, or termite removal with the help of twigs. The cultural knowledge is further passed to the younger ones. It helps the youngers to learn about the tool use while learning about food preferences and eating habits.
