Media’s message and the media’s portrayal have always endangered the idea of being a woman and put it under the pressure of unnatural standards of beauty and its expression. As it is evident in the film “Killing Us Softly,” the media not only harms the image of a woman but also puts it under risks. Women are made to believe that they have to strive to achieve that particular image or body or look or even a personality, or else they will not be accepted into society and by men.
