Recall that the four goals of scientific research are: describe, explain, predict and control. Thus, you will be examining a specific social justice issue of interest to you and then applying your research findings to describe, explain, predict, and make suggestions for controlling the social justice issue of focus. In addition, throughout your research, you will want to keep in mind the power of telling a story to gain the interest of your audience and motivate social change.
