In the United States, it is evident that a premium value is placed on height and athletics. I do not believe that parents should be free to give their children growth hormones because it has various other side effects. However, it is also evident that it is beneficial for the faster and more coordinated growth of the child, and parents are more likely to prepare their child to be with good physique, height, and being athletics. But it has various side effects which also further link to long-term effects on the overall health of the child.
