Gangs are often misinterpreted as the gang phenomenon is never fully understood. It can be said that the media and other organizations portray gangs as negative entities however; there are some different perspectives about these gangs. While NGCRC highlight all of the issues with gangs, authors such as Baker and Peterson bring out the positive sides of the gang dramas such as the Sons of Anarchy or the SOA. NGCRC is right about the fact that these gangs are violent and they exist as wounds in society however, there are some positive sides as pointed out by Baker that the members of the SOA are excellent bikers
