Sigmund Freud, god father of psychology, either you hate him or love him, and for me it's the latter. Reading the snippet I could not help but admire his bluntness. While I may be wrong it seems as if he does not particularly care for ideologies that come with the Christianity faith. With that being said i feel as if because he does not believe in them he chooses not to follow them because it is against human nature, such as the phrase love thy neighbor. I feel as if though he believes that religion is just used to help retrain us from expressing ones true self or acting with violent tendencies. While I do not agree that religion is used to prevent violent behavior being that those who are religious may commit violent acts that may be apart of their religious views. I do believe that people act a certain way based on their beliefs causing them to go against human nature.
