George Orwell Politics and the English Language: George Orwell’s “Politics and the English Language” no doubt is an interesting read as it deals with the political language that almost ruined the contemporary English language. Often it is seen that to highlight the political agendas and camouflage the reality, politicians use languages that hide the deceit and lies and make everyone believe it is the truth. It is due to such languages that the standard of English language is deterioting with time. He has also thrown light on the wrong usage of words and phrases that has affected the language tremendously.
