With your completed 3D model, you may use the Moldflow Simulation Adviser software to perform the following analysis, by selecting the corresponding items during running analysis wizard, as shown below. The project will take 5 % of your total final grade. • Design Adviser Analysis (undercut, draft angle, nominal wall thickness analysis) • Gate location analysis (flow resistance analysis and gating suitability analysis) • Molding Window Analysis • Fill • Cooling Quality • Sink Mark • Fill+Pack • Warp • Please submit one Powerpoint file generated by Moldflow Simulation Adviser. Try to understand and interpret the analysis results by adding some notes on the corresponding slides, if possible. If the simulation software indicates some potential defects or issues, you may propose some strategies for improvement by re-design your part.
