Implicit Bias is bias that happens automatically and unintentionally. It affects our judgements, and decisions that we make. Explicit bias is when a person is aware of their bias to a certain group of people. I took the Arab/ Muslim IAT test. I chose this one because I don’t have any Arab/ Muslim friends and I wanted to see if I held any prejudice towards them. My test experience was pretty straightforward. The directions were a little tricky at times but I guess there is a reason for that. My results were not too bad. The test was basically a series of names and words that were put together.
