Revolution as the name suggests is a very drastic series of steps, often violent undertaken to bring about a profound change in the system. The system can mean anything from the political, social, economic or cultural. Violent revolutions are mostly seen in the political sphere when people revolt against the oppressive political powers of the state. When such a political revolution takes place, it leaves lasting changes in the governmental structure and cultural aspects of life. The French Revolution, Russian Revolutions are examples of political revolutions which changed the way of life of people in the state.
