Heraclitus of Ephesus is a traditional Greek philosopher, who is generally known as Pre-Socratic Ionian philosopher who abundantly contributed in ideas regarding cosmology, where it is believed that Fire contributes to be the basic material or principle for the orderly universe. However, Heraclitus is also sometimes known as “weeping philosopher” for unclear and obscure nature of his teaching. Furthermore, Heraclitus also pursued truth. Heraclitus also claimed that the clinging is nature is unnatural and due to this factor only people have to suffer in this world. Heraclitus also developed and improved the ideas and concepts of Xenophanes. Heraclitus believed that God is behind all things which exists in this universe and also named this force as “logos”.
