The attorney-client relationship is one that is built on trust and effective communication, and in which the attorney has some special authority to act on behalf of the client and is entitled to some special privileges by the client as well. The three models on which the relationship is based are, one where the client establishes the relationship with the attorney and the attorney agrees to it, the next being where the client has expressed interest and the attorney has not replied anything, and thereby automatically get involved in a relationship, and finally when a court appoints an attorney to a client and thus, the enter an attorney-client relationship.
