Teenagers nowadays have accounts on a variety of social media platforms, such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. They utilize these to aid in social interactions and networking, but these profiles have increasingly become a reason for rejecting admission to students, particularly those with problematic social media or public internet histories. Applying to colleges has been difficult, and one must overlook the time and effort required to decide which institution to apply to and juggle all of the requirements necessary to gain admission to the college of one's choice. If universities are allowed to refuse admission based on social media postings and public internet records, it would not only add to students' concerns but will also be seen as a breach of their liberty.
