Instructions • The student will post one thread of at least 300 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on the Thursday of the assigned Module: Week. • The student must then post two replies of at least 250 words each by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of the same Module: Week. • For each thread, students must support their assertions with at least two scholarly citations in current APA format. Each reply must incorporate at least two scholarly citations in current APA format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. The textbook is an acceptable source. • For each thread, a scripture application must be given. This should include a sentence or two on how the scripture selected applies to the student’s discussion post. Always cite biblical references with each scripture. In my community, there have been situations of elections in which politics has made an impact on communications. This is because there have been instructions given to me and the other members of my community by our community leader about not making remarks or comments publicly about any of the political leaders or political parties involved in the process of elections. The major issue would arise if there would be anything sensitive spoken about any of the political candidates, especially anything against the leading or already existing political leader. This is because the supporters of the existing political leader of the ruling political party could become emotionally and physically aggressive. Moreover, there could be an unnecessary conflict developed between the supporters and non-supporters of the ruling political party. This implies that there can be free speech not always possible to be expressed by the members of my community.
