Cultural competency indicates the effective, cognitive, and behavioral characteristics of a particular culture that helps individuals from that culture communicate with others from different cultures effectively. An individual can gain accurate cultural competency through proper cross-cultural studies and intercultural knowledge. Due to that reason, in this study, I should talk about my culture, which generally includes a variety of insights that can be categorized as some major advantages for people from this particular cultural background. There are some particular aspects that make Latin American culture a valuable subject for cross-cultural education. It can be observed that in Latin American culture, both kinds of characteristics of high culture and popular culture can be observed. Some crucial aspects of high cultural aspects are literature and a rich sense of art. On the other hand, popular cultural aspects indicate folk art, dance, and music.
