Q Learning Objective: This assignment aligns with Chapter Learning Objective 7 (Demonstrate the ability to change “You Language” to “I Language” to improve shared meaning in interpersonal relationships). Instructions Complete the Exercise in the Chapter Activities called Skill Practice: I Language. Read the examples to get an idea of how each step should sound. Then pick a real life issue in a real relationship in your life to demonstrate what you would say if you were having a dialogue about the issue, using I language. Be clear about what you would say to the other person in each step. In a separate document (so your work is saved), type out your script for each step. Copy and paste your work into the submission box, and submit. Always keep a copy of your work outside of Canvas in case of technical issues. After you post your answers, respond to two classmates by clicking “reply” and offering insightful commentary or questions, following the guidelines for responding (see rubric below). Please try to only respond to posts that do not have any responses. Grading Rubric This assignment is worth 25 points. Your Post (worth 15 points) 13-15 points = Work is exemplary.
