I do not believe that there are parallels between working with military populations and other types of populations because each population has different environment settings and so the support system. The similarities between these two populations are both populations needed to be well-aware of their mental health. Both populations irrespective of occupation/services need mental health assistance and medical services when in need. However, some of the differences among these two populations are when working with these populations, approaches and treatment plans are different
