There are many incidents of employee’s minor misconduct that include working hours loafing, absent in meetings, mixing or performing private works in official hours et.aI.To address the minor misconduct of employees in the context of labor- Management relation, a discipline system is constituted that includes penalties in different levels such as suspensions, warnings, reprimands, and termination known as progressive discipline. It may also be referred to as performance improvement plans, corrective action procedures, and positive discipline programs(Carrell & Heavrin, 2013).
