Defamation is simply defined as a form of oral or may be written interactions of a deceptive statement made on another and that significantly damages the recognition thus contributing majorly towards the tort of crime. In various countries also including that of South Korea, often a true statement is known as defamation. Moreover, under the Common law to constitute defamation, there should be a claim that should ordinarily be false and should have been made upon some individual instead of the individual who has been completely defamed (Hill, 1976).
