I. Introduction Acoustic guitars are meticulously crafted by a team of committed artisans and music enthusiasts at Nashville Custom Guitars. Less than 800 guitars are produced annually by the small manufacturing company Nashville Custom Guitars (NCG). The business has not intentionally endeavored to implement TQM's guiding principles, nor does it have a formal quality department. However, a look at its operations and facilities reveals that many of TQM's and Deming's 14 Points' tenets are there. In this essay, we examine NCG in more detail and assess its operational procedures via the prism of Dr. Deming. We are given material in the class text that can be studied and taken into account in light of Dr. Deming's 14 points philosophy, allowing us to draw examples of that philosophy from a situational analysis of actual events.
