“Fight The Power” is a 1989 song by the Public Enemy. This song talks about protesting against the oppression happening against the Black people. The song talks about how fighting against the power is necessary because even though most people fear it, just because something is popular should be accepted. The stigmas related to the Black people are popular but they must not be accepted and the system should fight back. The lyrics note: “Got to give us what we want/ Gotta give us what we need/ Our freedom of speech is freedom or death” which shows the need for fight.
