The evidence connecting GRBs with Supernovae was found when GRB980425's search with the telescope was happening; this found the presence of supernova at a similar time to the burst. Several bursts' x-ray spectra indicated the presence of iron, and it provides evidence of Supernovae connection with GRBs. It is said that supernova explosion leads to the synthesis and dump of iron atoms into interstellar space. Different wavelengths' light, commonly known as emission lines, are produced when electrons strip off and hook up again with iron atoms. In 1997 Japanese x-ray satellite ASCA and BeppoSAX provided solid evidence of the presence of emission lines.
