In “(Why) Are Women Paid Less?” (The Economics of Public Issues, Miller, Benjamin, and North, 2016), the authors provide statistics about the ways in which female workers have become active members of the paid workforce. The authors have also provided comparative statistics in which the percentage of participation of male counterparts of female workers have also been highlighted. The decline of the rate of participation of male workers in the labor force has been highlighted by the authors to make the readers identify the rise in the participation of female workers in the labor force. The level of participation of males and females cannot be controlled by business entrepreneurs.
