1. I am a bit of a weirdo, in that I have always enjoyed public speaking. There is a certain exhilaration I feel when presenting something to an audience. One thing that has made my public speaking even more satisfying, is the tools that I feel that I have now, after taking this course. Learning the different parts of a good speech both verbal and nonverbal, as well as how to properly structure a speech to achieve your purpose statement, gives me tremendous confidence. 2. There are a few things that I did well in this class. One thing that I did very well was to give thoughtful feedback to my peers whenever possible and called for. Since our peers were our audience, I think that giving great feedback is so beneficial to furthering one's development in public speaking.
