Searching job from Facebook had been new to me because I have never tried to obtain a referral of a job from Facebook. I have also never heard any of my friends to use Facebook as a job search resource to find out jobs for them. The sample cover letters and resumes did not look different than I had expected. This is because I have used different types of resumes for different purposes in the past. Those resumes have been customized for applying in different positions. I have used cover letters rarely. However, cover letters are effective and I have made good use of them. Cover letters are required to be short and they are like previews/snapshots of the profiles of individuals.
