The major common element among the NAEYC Code of Ethics, Promises to Practice and Markkula Center is to do a situational analysis of a specific situation and then find out the best solution to resolve the analyzed situation. There must be professional discretion utilized and applied to ensure that support is provided to the targeted individual/individuals. This is because in situations of ethical dilemma, there is the requirement of supporting an individual or a group of individuals. There is also the requirement of rejecting the views/opinions of another individual or another group of individuals.
