The name of my interviewee is Mishalia Gumbs. This individual works for a local non-profit organization where women from different places are provided shelter, and guidance against violence. The individual has spent half of her life by supporting women who have been the victim of various forms of violence. There are several reasons and facts behind such ill treatment against the women. The person with whom the interview has been done is so emotional while stating about her interactions with those women who faced several kinds of violence. The interview process was face-to-face as this non-profit organization is based in the locality. This person has answered several questions and she has defined violence as an act against women and it can be considered gender-based violence.
