It's horrible. Caregivers need to be screened. They need training and constant support. They need to be able to be honest about being stressed out, not being able to work with particular clients, working with clients beyond their experience level, or needing more training, without being fired for speaking out. They need to understand that it's okay to get stressed or even angry with clients/residents (they're only human) but taking it out on the resident is a crime, and they should be able to go to their supervisor to express their feelings without repercussions.
